Since 1999, Beaconstar has been at the forefront of overseas sourcing to the greater China regions. Over the past decade, we have built up a strong and diverse network of supply chain to fulfill specific sourcing needs of our U.S. clients.

Our core strength is in the area of print collateral, founders of the company each has more than 20+ years of experience in the printing industry. In 2003, Beaconstar opened its first office in Taipei, Taiwan, to oversee sourcing and export. In 2005, Beaconstar opened another office in Shanghai, China, to further expand sourcing opportunities in China. In 2006, Beaconstar acquired the Gifttech company and launched into the promotional gifts sourcing market. In 2008, Beaconstar opened its Hong Kong, China, office to facilitate export management and better explore sourcing opportunities in other parts of Asia. In 2011, the core printing management unit was spun off as an independent company.

Today, Beaconstar has grown to be a multi-dimensional sourcing company that does more than just a go-between broker a decade ago. We are bringing more values and services to our U.S. clients by providing more consultations, in-depth analysis, current trend studies, other strategical recommendations and implementations. Furthermore, for U.S. clients that have market presence in the Asia region, we offer the ability to use China as both a manufacturing and distribution point to service their consumers and buyers on a local basis.

By the end of 2014, we’ll be launching another service for our international customers that will help them to bring their products into China mainstream retail channels (i.e. supermarkets, convenience stores, shopping malls, etc) with or without having a presence in China.
